For diners

Does it cost anything to book?

No. Booking a table on Signature Dish is free for diners, and we don't ask for a card.

Do I need an account?

Yes. You need a free account with a confirmed email address to book, so the restaurant knows who's coming and you can manage your reservation. You must be 18 or older to use Signature Dish.

How do I cancel?

Open the link in your confirmation email, or go to My reservations, and choose Cancel. You can cancel up until your reservation time; after that, please call the restaurant. See our booking, cancellation and no-show policy.

Can I change my reservation?

Not yet. For now, cancel and book the new time. [[TODO(Adam): decide whether to build "change reservation"]]

Why can't I review without booking?

It keeps reviews tied to real visits. A review unlocks only after the restaurant marks your party as seated, and each visit gets one review.

What do I need to post a review?

A seated reservation from the last 30 days and a confirmed email address. [[TODO(Adam): phone verification decision. The code also requires a phone-verified account, but texts are in console mode in production, so nobody can verify yet. Either turn on real SMS and add "and a phone-verified account" here, or drop the phone requirement in code]]

Can I add a video to my review?

Yes. After you post a review you can add a short video (MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 60 seconds).

How do you pick what to show me?

We may highlight places based on your favorites, your past bookings and, only if you allow it, your location. Paid placements are labeled "Sponsored". We never sell your personal information and we don't use ad networks. See our Privacy Policy.

Is the site accessible?

We're working toward WCAG 2.2 AA. Every page has accessibility settings (text size, contrast, theme and more) and works with a keyboard alone. See our accessibility statement.

Can I install it like an app?

Yes. Signature Dish is a web app you can add to your home screen from your browser (on iPhone: Share, then Add to Home Screen; on Android or desktop Chrome: Install app).

How do I get listed?

Apply here with your restaurant details and your signature dish. We review every listing before it goes live.

What does it cost?

Can I control who reviews us?

No restaurant can pick or remove reviews, but only guests you mark as seated can review, and you can reply publicly. If a review breaks our guidelines, report it and we'll take a look.
