Terms of Service

Effective date: October 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Taylor Business Management, LLC, a New York limited liability company ("Signature Dish", "we", "us"), and they cover your use of the Signature Dish website at signaturedish.mobi, our apps, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Please read section 16 carefully. These Terms contain an arbitration agreement and a class-action and jury-trial waiver. Unless you opt out within 30 days, most disputes between you and us must be resolved in individual binding arbitration instead of in court. See 16. Dispute resolution and arbitration.

1. What Signature Dish is

Signature Dish helps you discover restaurants by the dish they're known for, book tables, watch short dish clips, and read and write reviews from verified diners. Restaurants use Signature Dish to list themselves, manage tables, shifts and reservations, post clips, and reply to reviews.

Signature Dish is a booking and discovery platform. We don't own or run the restaurants listed, and we are not a party to your dining experience. When you book a table, the arrangement for your meal is between you and the restaurant.

While the site shows a "Demo site" notice, restaurants, reviews and clips marked "Sample" are fictional examples, and bookings at sample restaurants are not real reservations.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Signature Dish.
  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date, including your name, email address and mobile number.
  • Keep your password secret. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone else has used it.
  • One person, one diner account. Don't create accounts for other people or use fake, temporary or disposable details.
  • Some features need a verified email address and, for reviews, a verified mobile number. Message and data rates may apply to verification texts.
  • When you create an account, we ask you to check a box to agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We keep a record of which version you agreed to and when.

3. Booking a table

  • A booking is a request to the restaurant for a table at a given time and party size. Some restaurants confirm automatically; others confirm it themselves. Your booking is only confirmed when the Service shows it as confirmed.
  • Each restaurant's own policies apply to your visit, including how long it holds a table, deposits, dress codes, minimum spend, and its cancellation and no-show rules. Check with the restaurant if you're not sure.
  • Please arrive on time and with the party size you booked. If your plans change, cancel or change your booking as early as you can.

Cancellations and no-shows

  • You can cancel an upcoming booking from My reservations until its start time. After that, please contact the restaurant directly.
  • A restaurant may cancel a booking, for example if it has to close. We'll let you know when that happens, but we're not responsible for the restaurant's decision.
  • If you don't show up, the restaurant can mark the booking as a no-show. No-shows are recorded on your account and lower its standing, which can affect, for example, whether your reviews are published right away.

4. Fees

  • Diners pay nothing to Signature Dish. Searching, booking, watching clips and writing reviews are free.
  • Restaurants may set their own charges, such as deposits, prepayments, or cancellation or no-show fees. Any such charge is shown before you book. It is between you and the restaurant and is governed by the restaurant's own policies.
  • Restaurants' use of Signature Dish, including any pricing, is covered by a separate Restaurant Agreement between the restaurant and us.

5. Reviews, clips and other content you post

"Your content" means reviews, ratings, photos, video clips, replies, reports and anything else you submit.

  • Verified reviews only. You can review a restaurant only after it has marked your party as seated, once per visit, within 30 days of the visit. Reviews must describe your own real experience.
  • You keep ownership of your content. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display, adapt (for example resize or transcode), and share your content on and in connection with the Service and its promotion, and to let restaurants display reviews of their restaurant. This licence ends when your content is removed from the Service, except for copies kept in backups for a limited time or where the law requires us to keep them.
  • You confirm you have the rights to everything you post, and that anyone who is identifiable in a photo or clip has agreed to it.

Content rules

Don't post content that:

  • is false or misleading, or is about a visit you didn't make;
  • was written in exchange for payment, a discount or a free meal, or by restaurant owners, staff or competitors about a restaurant they're connected to;
  • is hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or violent;
  • shares someone's private information, such as a phone number or address;
  • infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights;
  • is spam, advertising, or off-topic; or
  • breaks the law or encourages others to.

Moderation and reporting

We may review, hold, refuse, edit for formatting, or remove content, and restrict accounts, when we believe content breaks these Terms or the law. Some reviews are checked before they appear. Restaurants can reply publicly to reviews but can't edit or delete them.

To report a review, clip or listing, use the Report link next to it or email [email protected]. For copyright complaints, include the work, where it appears on the Service, and your contact details.

6. Restaurant listings and staff accounts

  • Restaurants apply to be listed, and an admin reviews every listing before it goes live. We may decline, pause or remove a listing.
  • The person who applies confirms they're authorized to act for the restaurant. Restaurant accounts can invite staff as owner, manager or host; the restaurant is responsible for who it invites and for everything its staff do in the dashboard.
  • Restaurants must keep their listing accurate (address, hours, tables, shifts and availability), honor confirmed bookings or cancel them promptly, mark visits honestly (seated or no-show), and post only clips and photos they have the rights to.
  • Restaurants must not post or ask for fake reviews, offer incentives for reviews, or use diners' details for anything other than handling their booking, unless the diner agreed.

7. Things you must not do

  • Use the Service for anything illegal or fraudulent.
  • Make bookings you don't intend to keep, resell or trade reservations, or hold tables for other people for profit.
  • Scrape, copy or harvest data, or use bots to book or review, except search and AI crawlers that follow our robots.txt.
  • Probe, scan, overload or try to break our security, or get around rate limits, verification or bot checks.
  • Pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent your connection to a restaurant.
  • Interfere with other people's use of the Service.

8. Ending your account

You can stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account, email [email protected] from the address on your account. When an account is deleted we remove or anonymize its personal details; reviews may be removed as well. We may keep limited records where we need them to prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations.

We may suspend or close an account, or remove access to the Service, if you break these Terms, if we're required to by law, or to protect diners, restaurants or the Service. Where reasonable, we'll tell you why.

9. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logo and the name "Signature Dish", belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service as these Terms allow. Don't copy, modify or reuse it except as the law permits.

10. Privacy

How we collect and use personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Messages and contact preferences

  • Service messages. We email you about your account and bookings: booking confirmations, reminders and changes, security and password messages, and verification codes. These are part of the Service and can't be turned off while you have an account.
  • Booking texts (confirmations and reminders) are sent only if you turn them on for your verified mobile number.
  • Picks and offers (restaurant spotlights, promotions, newsletters and sponsored offers) are sent by email or text only if you ask for them. Agreeing to them is never a condition of using Signature Dish, making a booking or buying anything.
  • Text messages. If you sign up for texts, you agree to receive recurring automated texts from Signature Dish at the number you gave us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop all texts from us, or HELP for help. Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Your choices. You can change any of these at any time in Account, Contact preferences. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link that works without signing in. Changes take effect right away.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Restaurant details, availability, menus, prices, reviews and clips come from restaurants and diners, and we don't guarantee they're accurate or complete. We don't guarantee that a table will be available, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or the quality, safety, or legality of any restaurant, food or service. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

If you have food allergies or dietary needs, confirm them directly with the restaurant.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Signature Dish and its owners, staff and partners won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, or for anything a restaurant or another user does. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to Signature Dish in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US$100.

Restaurants are responsible for your visit

Restaurants, not Signature Dish, are responsible for the dining experience, including the food and drink they serve, their premises, their staff, and their own policies (such as deposits, cancellation and no-show fees, and how long they hold a table). To the extent the law allows, you release Signature Dish and its owners, staff and partners from claims, losses and damages arising from or relating to any restaurant or your visit to it. Any such claim is between you and the restaurant.

Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

13. Indemnity

If you use the Service in a way that breaks these Terms or the law, or your content infringes someone's rights, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of claims that result, to the extent the law allows.

14. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may change the Service and these Terms. If a change is material, we'll give you at least 60 days' notice before it takes effect, by email to the address on your account and by posting the updated Terms on this page. We may also ask you to review and agree to the updated Terms the next time you visit while signed in; until you do, you can keep browsing but can't make new bookings. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, the new Terms apply. If you don't agree, stop using the Service and you can ask us to delete your account.

15. Governing law and courts

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs the arbitration agreement in section 16. Any dispute that isn't resolved in arbitration under section 16 (or in small-claims court) will be handled only in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, New York, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere. You and we agree to the jurisdiction of those courts for that purpose.

16. Dispute resolution and arbitration

This section affects your legal rights. It applies to any dispute, claim or controversy between you and Signature Dish relating to the Service or these Terms ("dispute"), including disputes about whether this section applies.

Step 1: Try to resolve it informally

Before starting arbitration or a court case, email [email protected] with your name, your account email, a description of the dispute, and what you'd like us to do. We'll do the same by emailing the address on your account. We'll both try in good faith to resolve it. If it isn't resolved within 60 days after the notice is received, either of us may start arbitration. Time limits for bringing a claim are paused during those 60 days.

Step 2: Individual binding arbitration

  • If the dispute isn't resolved informally, it will be decided by individual binding arbitration, not in court, except as described under "Exceptions" below.
  • The arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect, available at adr.org. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this section.
  • Hearings will be held by video or phone, or in person in the county where you live if you prefer or the arbitrator decides an in-person hearing is needed. Fees are paid as the AAA's Consumer Arbitration Rules provide.
  • The arbitrator can award the same individual relief a court could, but only to the individual party bringing the claim and only to the extent needed for that party's individual claim. The arbitrator's decision is final, and a judgment on it may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.

No class actions and no jury trials

You and we each give up the right to a jury trial and the right to bring or take part in a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding. Claims may be brought only in your or our individual capacity, and an arbitrator may not combine more than one person's claims or preside over any class or representative proceeding.

Exceptions

  • Small claims: either of us may bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies, as long as it stays there and is pursued only on an individual basis.
  • Intellectual property: either of us may ask a court for an injunction or other equitable relief to stop the infringement or misuse of copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, patents or other intellectual property.

Opting out of arbitration

You can opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days after you first accept these Terms by emailing [email protected] with your name, your account email, and a clear statement that you want to opt out of arbitration. Opting out doesn't affect any other part of these Terms. If you opt out, disputes will be handled in the courts described in section 15.

Mass filings

If 25 or more similar demands for arbitration are filed against us by or with the help of the same law firm or organization, the AAA will administer them in batches of up to 25 demands, with one arbitrator per batch, and the remaining demands will be on hold until each batch is decided. You and we agree to cooperate in good faith to carry this out, and time limits for the held claims are paused in the meantime.

If part of this section can't be enforced

If the class-action and representative waiver is found unenforceable for a particular claim or request for relief, that claim or request (and only that one) will be decided by the courts described in section 15, not in arbitration, after the individual arbitrable claims are decided. If any other part of this section is found unenforceable, the rest of it still applies.

17. General

These Terms, with any policies they mention, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. You can't transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, sale or reorganization.
